• They are among the smartest mammals. They can solve complex problems and remember the solution for up to 3 years.
• They are nocturnal. They rest during the day and explore at night.
• Their dark mask is not just decorative. It cuts down glare from the sun and helps improve their night vision.

Native to North and Central America. Introduced in Europe and Asia, today they live across much of the northern hemisphere.
